This training course has been designed for
people who wish to improve their ability to deliver effective presentation
confidently. The program will give you individual and general guidelines
on all aspects of successful presentations.
The topics below represent a suggested course content. However
these can be adapted to meet specific objectives.

all kinds of demographic and psychological differences. Understanding
your audience and understanding how they see you. Understanding the
speaker "source credibility". Choice of media and audience

The
elements of types of presentations to achieve specific goals. Whether
the goal is to inform, to request, to persuade or to build relationships this
affects the detail, the tone, the timing and the delivery. When the
purpose is to inform you can be delivering different types of news, for
example, good, bad or technical information
Knowing
what visual aids and media are appropriate for what situation and how they aid
learning and memory. Using visuals for yourself. How to organise a
presentation, using cards or notes etc. How presentations evolve like
writing an essay and not always in order
Understanding
who you are what you bring. Believing that you can bring value to the
presentation. Encouraging self-talk, researching the topic, discovering
audience expectations, being relaxed
Getting
the right perspective on the awareness, use and interpretation of body
language, without becoming oversensitive. The dominant effect of
nonverbal communication. Face, Posture, Gestures, Tone, Touch, Dress,
Timing and Personal Space

using questions and open discussion or debate. Striking a balance with
